Trinity Western University forward Logan Casavant is the ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week for the week ending February 18th.
The 21-year-old from Melfort, Saskatchewan helped lead the Spartans to three straight road wins with a goal and four assists.
On Friday, Casavant assisted on a Jordan Bogress goal in the second period as TWU scored three unanswered goals in a 3-2 win over the Unversity of Victoria.
One night later, the former Nipawin Hawks forward was held pointless, but the Spartans topped Vancouver Island University 3-2.
Casavant capped the Family Day long weekend with a goal and three assists in a 7-3 drubbing of Simon Fraser University. He scored the opening goal for TWU and assisted on the eventual game-winner as part of a three-assist afternoon.
Casavant is now 11th overall in league scoring and fourth among all rookies in points.
Runners up for this week's ANYTHING BRANDED POW award include TWU goaltender Lucas Mills, Simon Fraser University forward Mitch Newsome, Vancouver Island University forward Alex Milligan and University of Victoria forward Blake Holowaty.
